Safety

      The Clubhouse is ASTM (American Society for Testing & Materials) compliant for backyard kids playground equipment. It has been carefully designed with powder-coated steel infrastructure and durable polywood walls. Each Clubhouse will be anchored to the ground with galvanized steel screws in order to withstand heavy winds, snow or rainstorms.  The Clubhouse is primarily made of polywood, which is splinter-free and heat-diffusive. This material was carefully selected because of its reputation to last for 20+ years with very little required maintenance. The door to the “secret hideout” opens out into the main room of the Clubhouse interior so that kids can always safely exit the space. The hideout also features two window cutouts 15 inches off the ground so kids can feel like they are “hiding” but parents and caregivers can always see them! The cutouts on the pegboard wall serve the same purpose inside.The interior stairs are designed to give younger children a safe way to access the upper level of the Clubhouse. The railing on the second floor features a chippendale design instead of the standard vertical designs most outdoor playsets use in order to further reduce the chances of small hands or feet sneaking through.
